Shooting and finishing is designed for middle school and high school girls’ lacrosse players of all experience levels. The Training is open to athletes from every field position and is club-neutral.
Athletes do not need to arrive as accomplished shooters. They need to be willing to improve their mechanics, accept coaching and compete.

WHAT CAN MY DAUGHTER DO?
The best finishers do more than shoot hard. They Learn To Get Their Hands Free, recognize the goalie’s position, create better angles and choose the right finish.
A confident finisher can:
-
Shoot with power and accuracy without sacrificing mechanics
-
Change her angle and release point
-
Use her eyes, stick and body to deceive the goalie
-
Finish on the move
-
Shoot quickly off a catch or dodge
-
Select the right finish based on the situation
-
Stay composed when time and space disappear

THE FINISHER'S CREED
A confident finisher does not shoot and hope.
She creates the angle.
She reads the goalie.
She disguises her release.
She chooses her spot.
She finishes with purpose.

-
Repeat Shooting & Finishing to build consistency
-
Add "develop both hands" to improve confidence with both hands
-
Add "Dodging & Beating Your Defender" to improve her ability to win her 1 v 1 match Up

Every player has a different starting point. The goal is to identify the right next challenge.
SHOOTING
The goal is not to take more shots. It is to take better shots.
